The Australian Society of Marine Artists
is a body
of diverse artists and others interested in marine and maritime art . . . painters, lithographers and printmakers, sculptors, model-makers,
historians and students.
Among our members we have every painting style represented - from traditional to contemporary, realist to abstract.

fellows of other prominent Art Societies. We also
warmly welcome students and less experienced
artists.

Artist in Residence Programme
In 2008 the Sydney Heritage Fleet, in conjunction with the Australian Society of Marine Artists, inaugurated an Artist
in Residence programme.
Selected artists spend 3 to 4 months at
the Museum sites on a minimum basis of, say, 3 days per week.
